2020 – A year to remember…
2021 – A year to remember
As we move into a new year with new challenges, I have taken a moment to reflect on 2020. For me, this was both a year of restriction and a year of freedom. Sadly all my teaching and performing was curtailed by the lockdown, and yet I was free to paint more than at any other time. During the late Spring, Summer and Autumn, flowers were my muse. As this selection of paintings show – they provided me with constant colour and much joy!
I cannot believe how many paintings I have created. This is just a selection, as there were landscapes too!
Creativity has been a gift for which I am truly grateful . I do hope that you were also able to explore some new windows of opportunity during this extraordinary year. Obviously many art events were cancelled including South East Open Studios, but I am delighted to say that registration has just started for the 2021 event – I don’t think I will have a problem filling my walls this year!
